The Pro Hunter III SX features Steyrs innovative (SBS) Safe Bolt System. This model features a rugged green synthetic buttstock with polymer inlays and aluminum bedding block. The barrel is cold hammer forged and is well renowned for exceptional accuracy. The rifle features Steyrs patented Mannox finish which prevents wear and corrosion of the outer metal parts. The Mannox finish is completely impenetrable to damage from rain, moisture, sweat and blood.Steyrs SBS system features a unique 3-position roller tang safety conveniently located behind the rear of the bolt. The SBS bolt is equipped with four forward locking lugs that must be rotated 60 degrees in order to unlock the bolt, as well as multiple gas ports. A patented safety bushing offers enhanced protection against unexpected, excessive chamber pressure and escaping gases. Steyr has tested the bushing with high pressure proof rounds at a level of 120,000 psi without any damage to the rifle. This model also features an innovative 2-stage magazine release which allows the user to safely close the bolt without chambering a round when the magazine is indexed to its lowest position without removing the magazine from the rifle.

Restocking Fee for Non-Compliance: If your purchase cannot be legally shipped to your location due to non-compliance with local laws, a 10% restocking fee will be applied to your refund. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where you fail to meet the age requirements or laws restricting certain items (e.g., magazine capacity, firearms, ammunition).
Federal Firearm License (FFL) Transfer: All firearm transactions must be processed through a licensed Federal Firearm License (FFL) dealer. You may be required to provide a valid ID and undergo a background check as part of your purchase.

For customers purchasing in Colorado, please be aware that state law (Colo. Rev. Stat. § 18-12-302) prohibits the sale, transfer, or possession of large-capacity magazines exceeding 15 rounds of ammunition, with limited exceptions. To ensure compliance, we will block any magazine exceeding this capacity to limit it to 15 rounds. A fee of $15 will be charged for blocking up to 5 magazines per order.
